🌉 Project Superintendent, Bridge (Heavy Highway)

About the Role

A large heavy civil highway and bridge contractor is hiring a Project Superintendent for an FDOT design build highway and interchange project in Hernando County. You run the job in the field: schedule the foremen and subcontractors, set production goals, work with the engineers and inspectors, and own safety, schedule and budget on the ground.

What You'll Do

• Manage and schedule foremen and subcontractors
• Set production goals and hold the crews to them
• Work with project engineers, designers and FDOT inspectors on the design build job
• Own safety, schedule and budget in the field
• Coach and develop foremen and field employees
• Report progress and issues to project management

What You'll Need

• 5 to 7 years of bridge experience in heavy highway and bridge construction
• Knowledge of FDOT contracts, specifications and reports
• OSHA competent person certification
• Clean driving record
• Within reach of Ridge Manor or ready to relocate
