📐 Project Engineer, Heavy Civil

About the Role

A large heavy civil contractor is hiring a Project Engineer in Pensacola. You support the Project Manager and superintendent on the paperwork and the numbers that keep the job moving, and spend 20 to 30 percent of your time in the field. Candidates from across the Panhandle and Gulf Coast are welcome, and they help with relocation.

What You'll Do

• Manage submittals and RFIs
• Track the budget and flag cost issues early
• Build and update the schedule
• Handle owner communication alongside the Project Manager
• Support the superintendent in the field 20 to 30 percent of the time

What You'll Need

• Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management
• 3+ years of heavy civil experience: highway, bridge, roadway, drainage or utilities
• Primavera P6, FDOT history, HCSS or Bluebeam are a plus
• EIT or PE is a plus
• Onsite in Pensacola, or ready to relocate
