What You'll Own
- Lead the estimating team and coordinate every estimate with senior management
- Attend pre-bid meetings and walk sites to capture the details that win bids
- Drive detailed quantity takeoffs, summaries, and complete construction budgets
- Solicit and negotiate vendor and subcontractor pricing; qualify the right partners
- Resolve cost discrepancies and keep every number defensible
- Own all phases of bid and proposal development end-to-end
- Build and protect client relationships that bring work back
What You Bring
- 15+ years in highway construction and asphalt paving
- Bachelor's degree required — Civil Engineering or Construction Management preferred
- Proven command of all phases of bid and proposal development
- Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills
- Microsoft Office proficiency; valid driver's license with a clean record
- Willingness to travel occasionally for site visits
Compensation & Benefits
- $170,000 – $195,000 base, plus a performance bonus
